Recently, a home owner requested an inspection be done to a home they were interested in buying. They were particularly interested in the condition of the roof they felt was leaking. I too was interested as I could not pull up any permit records stating the roof had been replaced as it was listed as being replaced in 2004.
The inspections revealed a poor installation with leakages due to slipped and missing shingles. It was evident the installers were not very professional judging by the several beer cans left deep in the attic. Sooner or later, they are found.
